DuPage Friends of Extension was founded to support the programs of University of Illinois Extension in DuPage County. U of I Extension is, by law, reliant on state and county government funding. As government funding has been reduced, the role of donors and not-for-profit organizations, such as DuPage Friends of Extension, in supporting the work of Extension has become vital to the continued strength of the organization.
All donations to DuPage Friends of Extension benefit University of Illinois Extension programs and are matched by the State of Illinois.
