So you have wandered here, lantern in hand, in search of new adventures. Despite this being an unfortunately Gryffindor thing to do, rest assured that there is something for everyone here. Be ye Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin or Gryffindor. Squib or Muggle. Dark Lord or house-elf.

But these are all paltry things. What really matters, of course, is that your screen resolution is 1024x768--and that you are slash-sympathetic.

Slash is fiction that features same-sex relationships. They may range from the purely romantic to the overtly sexual. This site recommends slash for the Harry Potter fandom. If you are under-aged or bigoted, you are advised to leave the Restricted Section before your delicate sensibilities are offended. My pet Norbert is more than happy to return any flames.

Look to your left for navigation. Each shelf stocks a different kind of slash, and the shelves are arranged according to the number of recommendations for each type of pairing. Since Harry/Draco is the most popular pairing in HP slashdom, it has its own shelf. Following this is Severus/Harry, which would be my OTP if I were capable of admitting to one. Most recently added are the Severus/Draco, Sirius/Remus and Harry/Ron categories. Draco, Harry, Severus and Tom Riddle have their own shelves as well, for slash in which they are not paired with one another.  By 'other' in '?/other', I am referring to any HP character of the same sex.

Femslash is not as plentiful as m/m slash (more's the pity!) so it has fewer shelves. Hermione is most often slashed, so she has her own section. The next shelf has femslash featuring other female characters from Harry Potter.

Then we have the 'Portkeys' shelf. After much wrangling with Madam Pince, I managed to get permission to stock portkeys as long as they key only to other libraries. As a result, the portkeys here are a collection of links to the best Harry Potter slash archives, authors and groups--i.e., places where you will find yet more fic.

'Weapon of Choice' is where all my slash fiction is archived. 'The Daily Prophet' is my livejournal, and it is very much your daily update for slash reviews and news. Site updates are available at . All other shelves in the 'Librarian's Office' contain various administrative  things, such as site updates, owl information and the guestbook, etcetera.

About the recommendations... Please note that they are not listed alphabetically, but rather as per the date I add them. This is for your convenience--so that every time you visit this site, the newest recs will be listed first. Only NC-17 fics have their ratings mentioned.
