Oh Aja. *pats* :))
My thesis is due in 19 days and I’m still not finished. Lala. And yet, I’ve written almost 15,000 words of the book in a week and a half. Clearly, we can see where my priorities are. :/
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE BOOK. the long comment that got eaten the other day basically said that and also WHEN CAN I READ IT PLEASE.
In 3 weeks I’ve written nearly 12,000 words of a fic in a fandom I’m not even in that started as a one-off just to make Epon happy, and now I’m writing it every day and totally obsessed, which I haven’t felt like since I wrote the first 9 chapters of luw in a three-week rush, AND WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT TURNED OUT.
I really, really, really, want to write something original. I feel like it’s time. But I haven’t found a story yet. :/
I’m worried about it, lol. I’m not sure about the basic premise (basically I’m taking Alice in Wonderland and messing it up), but it’s a book I’ve always wanted to read that hasn’t a huge body count like Frank Beddor’s books, so I figured if I ever wanted to see it, I was going to have to write it. So, I am. :) But I’ll worry about that after I’ve had a few
victimspeople read the first draft, hopefully. I’m almost 20,000 words in, so I should hopefully have a complete and editied first draft by November. (Hey, I could use your birthday as a finish date! :D) And then we’ll just see. :)(…I am… very out of the loop, but who is Epon? D:) But yay for writing. Which, uh, hopefully won’t have the same outcome as LUW. I can’t see that happening, though, because the same expectations probably aren’t associated with it, right?
All I seem to be writing lately is original stuff. Whether it’s any good is a very different story, though, lol.
