Not another post about Bump of Chicken.

I keep saying I don’t have anything to update about except Bump of Chicken. Last month I heard “Hybrid Rainbow” for the first time and seriously, you guys, I nearly made a post that was five feet long. It’s one of the most beautiful fucking things I’ve ever heard in my life. How are they so phenomenal? How?

This post might turn out to be that way too, honestly. It’s like every time I hear them something happy explodes in my chest. I got Becky to listen to them, too, which pretty much made my week. Bump of Chicken will take over the world, one song at a time.

I love them so much, guys. I don’t really get into PVs at all but I saw the PV to “Snow Smile” for the first time recently and it nearly made me cry. I have no idea what the literal translation is but after seeing the PV all I can think is:

“My friends and I…”

“We’ll be together forever. Right, guitar?” he asked.

“Lol,” said his guitar.

Then his friends showed up.

“Lol,” they said.

I want to talk about things I have been doing during the last two months, because I feel like I must have been doing *something*, but now that the time has come to actually write it all down, it all feels very anti-climactic.
