This weekend I played Princess Maker 2 for like 8 hours straight and was certain that my daughter would marry the prince, except she wound up becoming the court jester because I’d made her charisma too high for royalty. LIFE.

miraculously it only took me TWO YEARS to get around to it. honestly though my track record when it comes to anime makes this speedy. and i was always "oh! gankutsuou! i really want to see that!" so. that counts for something.

i have offered you webspace before but if you still want it to put fics on or anything else you are always welcome.

It makes me sad too but if this is something she needs to do then I support her and love her times ten bazillion gazillion. She actually is not there! She is in NYC! You should email her, I am sure she would love to hear from you even if she is too busy as a first year law student to reply. :D

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Epon's lj name is tl__dr, with 2 underscores because it makes the symmetry better, I think. And she will yell at me now so I had better go to lunch and write kira-smut with which to appease her.

EVERYBODY SAYS THEY REMIND THEM OF REMIOMOREN AND I HAVE LIKE NO IDEA WHY, I can't hear it at all, and also everyone is also *___* about Remiomoren and I think they're kind of bland so I am like WHY WHY WHY MUST YOU NOT EMBRACE BUMP OF CHICKEN OVER THIS BAND THAT IS HARD TO SPELL JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A SUCKER FOR SONGS SUNG TO DYING LOVERS.

The thing about Bump of Chicken is that with some (not all, but a lot) of their songs, the melodies are so complex and non-intuitive that you have to listen to them for a while for them to really start to sink in. I will listen to songs by them for months that I don't think are that good and one day something about the melody will click and suddenly that song is the BEST SONG EVER. Like they are either CATCHY AND VIBRANT and IMMEDIATELY ACCESSIBLE, or ESOTERIC AND ODDLY STRANGE up to the point where ESOTERIC AND ODDLY STRANGE becomes <I>OH MY GOD THEY ARE BRILLIANT </i>.

or maybe that is just me.

I LOVE GUILD. My love for it has just deepened over time to the point where it's maybe my favorite of their songs <s>this week.</s> It's like, for me, all their songs just grow and grow and grow, or something.

OKAY I HAVE DOWNLOADED and am listening~ they remind me a little of Remioromen, the band that did the theme song for 1 Litre of Tears (which you probably haven't watched >:[) WHY ARE THEY CALLED BUMP OF CHICKEN, the name doesn't seem to match their music at all! or maybe it is a perfect fit, and I am just waiting for my ~ears to open~. Guild is a good late summer song. :")
