Oh hell, like i really needed the excuse to update.

A)

WE’RE BACK!

And better than ever. This round of the BBB is the last, and we’re planning all kinds of ways for bystanders, readers, artists and fans to participate throughout the next 6 months, so I really hope you guys will follow that link, check out the forums, and join us for the ride. ♥ We’re all really excited and hope you will be too.

B) Okay, so, I wasn’t going to out myself, and then I was, and then I wasn’t, and then I was, and basically having clumsily stumbled through every possible aspect of sockpuppetry the same way I have clumsily stumbled through every possible aspect of leaving/not-leaving/leaving livejournal, I just wanted to officially swing back to the “outed” side of the pendulum, and let you guys know that I kind of wrote a Death Note AU Light/L fic, which is stupid and ridiculous and plebey and implausible and did I mention ridiculous, which basically means it’s JUST LIKE CANON, haha. but it’s also funnily enough the longest thing i’ve ever actually finished, and people seem to like it, and I love my ridiculously long plebefic, and my sockpuppet lj is awesome, okay, so pardon my blatant hypocrisy long enough to see that when you have the opportunity to post ~*epic*~ fic under a name like , trivial concerns like the fact you’ve officially left LJ cease to matter.

Anyway, the fic is called A Red Hot Gad O’Iron “A Tithe to Hell” and it is Epon’s fic because she made me write it, basically, and all parts are posted there on that LJ, and I mostly wanted to tell you guys so I could show off my beautiful beautiful fanart by *____* – and also by the lovely . Both linked in the body of the fic, but I will link them here too, because I am shameless and GOSH I LOVE FANART.

• Write a long missive on how much Death Note sucks because it totally does, it totally sucks, but Light is hot, so hot, so very hot, and I am obsessed, because I am not obsessed and I don’t care and I’m not in stupid sucky Death Note fandom

in other news, i watched Samurai Champloo this weekend. Loved it. loved it. Read Samurai Champloo fic in all variations of the OT3 today. I think this is the first time I’ve ever actively shipped a trio. But god, they all just love each other so much. I didn’t know that sort of dynamic was irresistible to me, but maybe it is, a little.

Also irresistible to me? Gay serial killers. And stoics with glasses.
